Funded Places

We accept funded childcare places through the Government's funded childcare scheme, subject to eligibility.

In England, there are three government-funded early education schemes that offer free childcare for children aged 2, 3 and 4:

15-Hour Funded Places

Where parents are eligible for a 15-hour funded place, this is offered as 5 FREE morning sessions per week (9am to 12pm, Monday to Friday).

Parents also have the option to purchase additional afternoon sessions (12pm to 3pm) for the academic year, subject to availability. On such days, parents are required to pay for a school lunch, at a cost of £2.66 per day.

30-Hour Funded Places

Where working parents are eligible for 30 hours of free childcare, this is offered as 5 FREE days per week (9am to 3pm, Monday to Friday).

Parents are required to pay for a school lunch, at a cost of £2.66 per day.

Eligibility

To check your eligibility for funding please visit the government's Best Start in Life webpage.

Other than for the universal entitlement for all 3 and 4-year-olds, you will need to provide us with an eligibility code as proof of entitlement for free childcare. If you do not have this at the time of submitting an application form, please provide it to the school admin team as soon as possible to enable us to complete your application. You will be asked to complete a Parent Declaration Form to enable to us to process your application and to offer you a funded place.

Please note that you will need to reconfirm your eligibility for free childcare every three months. Failure to do so will terminate your eligibility. If your circumstances change, you may lose your eligibility but your child will retain the funded place until the end of the current term (the grace period).

Paid-For Sessions

We understand that every family has different childcare needs. Parents eligible for 15 hours funding can purchase additional afternoon sessions beyond their funded hours, subject to availability.

For those parents of 2-year-olds not eligible for any government funding, parents can opt to pay for sessions of their choosing, subject to availability. We do ask that parents commit to a minimum of two sessions per week to enable your child to get to know the setting, the routines and the staff.

Our fees for additional childcare sessions and wraparound care can be found here. We can accept tax-free childcare vouchers if that is your preferred method of payment.
